Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated · 23 June 2026

This policy explains how Augora Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales with company number 17256070 and registered office at Ground Floor, Talbot House, Albion Street, Chester, United Kingdom, CH1 1RQ (“Augora”, “we”, “us” or “our”), collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website at augora.co, and how we use cookies and similar technologies.

The Augora product (the logged-in application at app.augora.co) is covered by our full platform Privacy Policy and, where Augora acts as a processor for a customer firm, by the Data Processing Addendum with that firm. This page focuses on the public marketing website.

You can contact us about this policy at support@augora.co.

1. Who is responsible for your data

For personal data collected through this website, Augora Limited is the controller. We have not appointed a formal Data Protection Officer at this time; if this changes we will update this page.

2. Personal data we collect on this website

2.1 Information you give us

When you request access or book a demonstration, we collect the details you submit, which may include your name, work email address, firm name, role and any message or task context you choose to include.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you browse the website we (and our analytics provider) may process technical and usage data such as pages viewed, referring page, approximate location inferred from your IP address, browser and device information, and interaction events (for example, opening the request-access form). Where this involves non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we only do so after you accept analytics in our cookie banner.

3. How we use personal data

  • to respond to access requests and demonstration bookings;
  • to contact you about your enquiry and our product;
  • to understand how the website is used and improve its content and performance;
  • to detect, investigate and fix errors and security issues;
  • to comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Lawful bases

Where Augora acts as controller, we rely on:

  • Consent — for non-essential analytics cookies and similar technologies. You can withdraw consent at any time (see “Your choices” below).
  • Legitimate interests — to operate and secure the website, respond to enquiries and develop our products, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligation — where we must process data to meet legal, accounting or regulatory requirements.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies. Essential cookies are required for the site to function and to remember your cookie choice; analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in the banner. If you decline, our analytics provider runs in a cookieless mode that records an anonymous, privacy-preserving visit count without storing cookies or other identifiers in your browser.

6. Analytics and error monitoring

We use PostHog for product analytics, hosted on PostHog’s EU Cloud infrastructure so that data is processed within the EU. We use it for metadata only — such as page views, feature usage and interaction events — and not to capture the contents of any client files, prompts or outputs. We use Sentry for error monitoring to detect and fix technical issues. Both providers act as our processors.

7. Who we share personal data with

We share personal data with service providers who help us run the website and respond to enquiries, each acting as our processor or an independent controller as appropriate:

  • PostHog — product analytics (EU);
  • Sentry — error monitoring;
  • Vercel — website hosting;
  • Resend — delivery of enquiry notification emails;
  • Cal.com — demonstration scheduling;
  • Slack — internal notification of enquiries to our team;
  • regulators, authorities or professional advisers where required by law.

8. International transfers

We aim to process data in the UK or EEA where reasonably practicable. Where a provider processes personal data outside the UK or EEA and a safeguard is required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum.

9. Retention

We keep enquiry data for as long as necessary to respond to and follow up on your request and to keep appropriate business records, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Cookie lifetimes are set out in the table above.

10. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Your cookie choices. You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the website footer. Declining analytics stops further analytics cookies from being set.

To exercise your rights, contact support@augora.co. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be reflected here.
